Viscolex is used to treat lower respiratory tract disorder. The syrup contains the active ingredient carbocisteine which breaks down mucus in conditions such as chronic asthma or bronchitis to help you to breathe easier.

Description

 

Adults Initially 15mls three times daily reducing to 10mls three times daily once a response is obtained.

Children aged 6 to 12 years 5mls two to three times daily

Children aged 2 to 5 years 2.5mls two to three times daily.

Not to be used under 2 years of age in pregnancy or breast feeding.
